This truth - that our responses define us - is not a theory I learned, but a survival guide the fire of my circumstances demanded I write. My conviction was forged in the fire of two simultaneous crises – a small business owner fighting to provide for his family and a father learning how to raise a child with Down Syndrome.
Giving up was never an option. I was forced to build a new operating system. It is a survival guide that is built on one, non-negotiable principle: total ownership of my responses.
This is the work I now call Radical Responsibility.
In my keynotes, I do not share business theory. I share the story that forges my new operating system. I show leaders and their teams how to move beyond blaming their circumstances and build the resilience required to find the advantage in any challenge.
